Despite the torture
And endless spiral of pain
I somehow am able
To allow my soul to dance naked within the rain
Allowing each drop
To satruate my skin
And to wash away the disappointments
That somehow sank in
So I hope you are able to understand
Why it is so important
When you hold my hand
Because prior
To this twisted fickled finger of fate
I was alone
Not knowing the next time would be
When I would see your face
Or even aware where I would land
In my constant fall from grace
But now you are here
Standing there
Looking ever so sincere
And here I am
Regaining the strength
And hope
So my heart can once again stand...
