Regaining Hope

Regaining hope
It takes courage to take a step in life
Without someone you love and miss
All you want is them back to help you threw the tough times
But one day you realize that you can do it

Your heart opens
Your eyes open to a whole New World
Your love begins again
Your loved one would be very happy

As I start to realize that I don’t need my dad to move on
I can open my heart and let others love me like my dad did
I can take the extra step in life as much as it hurts me
I can do anything I can

When you lose someone as close to you
You must go on
Your friends honestly try to help you
Years will past, memories will never fade
Smiles will come back, tears will dry even though you’ll always cry

I have finally realized that I’m regaining hope
In myself and in others.
Thank you to all my friends
I love ya all!

It's wonderful to see a positive message, Min. It's a wonderful feeling, isn't it? Finally realizing that you have the strength to move on? *hugs* Well done! I enjoyed this, as always. You always pour yourself into your poetry, and that makes it wonderful each and every time
