Hey everyone. Just went through a lot of old stuff and found some poetry from "way back when." Actually some pretty good stuff. I may be "reposting" from "way back when", I forgot my old name what I had posted. Got some new stuff too, rediscovering my old poems kinda fired me up

Why I Loved Your Eyes

You always wondered why I loved your eyes so much...
They sparkled like a starry night. One of those nights that you return to childhood for just a moment, and wish on a star, that the one you love, will be the one who loves you for all eternity

They were bluer than the bluest ocean. The ocean that held as many secrets underneath as you do. So many unsolved mysteries... so much to wonder about

They were your other mouth. The mouth that didn't speak with words, only a deep gaze that seemed to last forever. It said much more than your lips would ever have to.

That, my love, is why I loved your eyes so much

I just generally have a thing for eyes, but when finding those eyes that are just amazing is all the better. A lot of times I think people don't appreciate eyes like that. Glad to see somebody else does! Or did... considering this is from "way back when".

Welcome back and all that stuff. I enjoyed this... so stick around this time around!

awww.. gawd i love these kinda poems... it just puts a smile on your face that people in this world do find happiness in the smallest things. Great job!

welcome to passions! great first post, i like the imagery a lot. without eyes the wourld would be a very dark place... ha ha get it...dark... um, yeah. keep posting your work
