Longing, searching, wandering
wishing, wanting, feeling
left out in the snow
while the parties inside
loved and laughed at
cherished but alone
because this is my life

looking at you, seeing
getting lost in your eyes
hold you near, let you go
off you go to spin and
back again, I wish
this to be an "US"
because this is my life

emptiness inside; not understanding
why I am who I am
you, me, Us, Who ???
no one, nothing, gone
can't explain how I feel
yet wishing I could
because this is my life.

Normally I repeat my favorite parts of a poem in the reply, but this time I didn't because as I was reading I couldn't find any one part. The whole poem, line after line was wonderfully written. It captured your thoughts and your emotions very well. Thank you for posting this.

I loved the ending... a perfect wrap-up for a well-written poem.

Nice write. lol i think that this poem is really good and if you were to add more and write some more stanzas your life could be in more than 21 sentences i think.
