Early morning run,
out before the sun.

Set a steady pace,
as the morning mist hits my face.

Alone w/ my thoughts,
just me and the wind.

Running set my soul free,
the road just lets me be.

Yes, the feeling of wind in your face... It's just so refreshing, and a good way of clearing your mind for deeper thoughts, though I personally prefer to cycle than to jog.

Hmm...kinda serene feel to it all. Very nice. I prefer longer poems, but this one was kinda groovy.

I liked this... short, but you made the reader feel it.

This was a great poem...i actually always want to go running before school because i think it'll make me feel great for the rest of the day but theres one problem...I HATE RUNNING..lol yea so i never go
