Ok sorry this is a long one..just making it up as I go...

I've stumbled within twisting corridors
Of my mind, each and every waking night
Wondering, hoping to ease this precious ache
The moon ebbed through my window
As it always did
Little did I know
The effects it would have upon my aching head
I lay softly upon my pillow
As I have often done before
Closed my eyes
Closed the door
And then there came a knock
Upon midnight's door
Meandering through my restless sleep
I crawled out of my bed
To have a peek
I slowly cracked open the door that I closed
And there stood an angelic sight
I closed my eyes in shere panic
He gently placed his hand upon my shoulder
And softly whispered
Without moving his mouth
"My precious child, do not give into fright
For I am here for you on this glorious magical night"
He pointed up to the moon
That reflected so clearly
Even if it were but a dream
He laid his finger upon my mouth
So I was unable to utter a word
"You need not speak with your mouth,
But speak with what's within your heart
I know what you hold within your mind
Yet my dear, dear precious child
You know why I am here
You've asked for angelic guidance
And wanted pure, solid truth
And that is now what you have
I only come to you
For your cries were pure and true..."
I stared at him, tears forming in my eyes
He continued and I knew he spoke no lies
"God has seen you suffer
And knows you teeter
Between your dreams and reality
He wants you to know
That this to shall pass
And with just one kiss
That I shall bestow to you
Will finally rid your soul of it's restraints
And for once you shall know what to do
But remember it is up to you to keep the faith
And to remember you are surrounded
By love and comfort each day
Again it is up to you
To reach out, and just call out his name..."
He bent down softly
Brushing his lips against my skin
A bolt of lightening struck my soul
Then I looked around
To find that I was again alone
Trembling and crying out God's name
Thanking him, for the earth shattering realiaztion
Found deeply embedded within an angel's kiss...

"Let me be the one you call, if you jump I'll break your fall, lift you up and fly away with you into the night"

Trust me, it may be long, but it hits you right where it counts.  I love it.  Keep it up!  And I hope you keep the peace you found.

This was good....though I usually don't like this sort of poetry. I think this sort of gives a new twist to the whole purity theme that Christianity usually seems to try to portray (at least in my area). Very nice.
