I know it seems so hard
To pull through all the mess
Finding a light at the end
Through all of your stress
You need space to think
Some time to be alone
It’s hard to sort things out
And yet you never even moan
You told him to wait
To give you your time
Till then you’d still be mates
It must have been so hard
To let him go for a while
You must really trust him
He could’ve ran for miles
Instead he’s still there
Waiting just for you
He’s finding it hard
But he really does love you.
And you hope he’ll wait
Because you love him too
You just need you space
To make sure it’s true.
And when it’s all over
Finished and done
You’ll be glad of the space
Because you’ll know you’ve won.
The one thing I want in life.
True Love.

To Linzi-I know you found it hard but I'm glad it all pulled through! Hope everyone likes it!

What a great poem to write for you friend! Your friend is lucky to have you care about her so much.
