is it possible to change
the things that i have done?
can i go back and make things right
before my life is done?
can i ever take back the things i said
to hurt the pople i love most in life?
is it possible for me to erase the hurt
i inflicted time after time?
will i ever be able to make things right
that i did when i only cared about me?
will people listen if i explain
that its all out of shallow self pity?
how do i earn back the love of someone i betrayed?
will they ever see me the same
if i love them even more?
will they forgive my selfish antics and hatefullness
if i make them see what i was like that for?
is it too late to mend a heart
that i've broken to pieces?
because if you love me no matter what i do
i might be able to love myself
and i really need this

I too know how this feels but unfortunately you cant take things back that happened in the past..you can only prevent them in your future...good write...nicely done
