Perfect but selfish

She is perfect,
and she knows it.
All the guys want her,
and she grins because she knows it.
But yet with all her beauty,
all her friends,
and all the guys falling for her,
she still is not pleased.
She wants more.
She says she is ugly,
and no one want her.
As she smiles,
because she knows it is all a lie.
I just don't get it,
how could some one who has just about everything,
Still want more.

That is a question I have often pondered for many a night. Good job of putting words to those thoughts of mine I never dared to. ^_^ I liked the poem, keep up the writing!

I totally agree. The worst thing is when you fall in love with that type of person. Because even though she is completely perfect for you, she is still not real, I am in the middle of this right now and it impressed me how you expressed it exactly as I felt. Good poem, keep it up.

Those last two lines really hit hard. It's difficult to understand, I know. But the all around low self esteem that ventures around everywhere these days is very sad. Nice work at putting this into words. I look forward to reading more

do u know how many ppl i know who r like that? isnt it just toally sickening? its like: why should these ppl who have everything complain to me about it when they know its not true??? how do they think that makes me feel? i dont understand at all.

I think people who have everything don't always want to believe they have it all and that's why they want more.But they really should be happy they have anything at all because a lot of people have nothing.That's whats sad about schools these days it's all a huge popularity contest and not everyone can win.But anyway I loved this piece keep up the great work.

Maybe she truly isn't happy with herself and the smiles she puts on for everyone is merely a facade? People tend to do that a lot...
