This isn't a poem, it's just me writing to get some things off my chest. You can only sit and cry for so long before you just have to write. Don't try to find rhyme, or flow to this, cuz there is none. I wasn't even thinking strait when i wrote this. My notebook page was soaked in tears by the end. A letter to you.... My Friend~ I sit here with tears streaming down my face. I'm hurting and I'm in pain. You told me that you would always be my bestfriend. And even though I have your word, I'm not sure what it means. I've been slapped in the face! It's so hard for me to sit here and watch you slip away. I talked to you on the phone just 10 minutes ago and you said you couldn't live without me either. And even though I have your word, I'm not sure what it means. But you're on the other side you're not feeling it like me! You're not aching like I am, you can't be! It's so hard for me to sit back and watch you glow, and float on could 9. Because with every one of your smiles, a tear rolls down my cheek. How can I sit back and watch someone else take my place? I CAN'T, and yet I can't do anything about it. You even said to me that NO ONE could ever take my place. And even though I have your word, I'm not sure what it means. Do you know the difference between friends and best friends? You insured me as to which one we would always be. And even though I have your word, I'm not sure what it means. I'm not calling you a liar, i would never do that. Yet if I have your word then why can't I stop crying? ~Your Friend |

omg!!!!!!!!! im going through the EXACT same thing!! ive lost my best friend...she said we would never part, but we have and now she has found someone new!!! these are my exact thoughts....and believe me, my keyboard is soaked in tears with this! Love is like learning to play the piano. First you must learn to play by the rules, then you must forget the rules and play by your heart. |

Wow.....I worte something down exactly like this to my best friend but I never gave it to her.I was scared of what she would write back so I just pushed her away moreAll things come to an end at some point because people go there own ways.But anyway I hope everything gets better for you and if y ou ever need someone to talk to feel free to e-mail me.I love this piece and keep up the awsome work. Well when you love someone is not easy to let go but if you really love your friend you should let him/her go!, I hope you feel better so you can smile instead of to cry for a long time. |

i want you to know... you could NEVER EVER EVER BE REPLACED!!! No one can even come close to the bond that we share. I feel as if we are one, not to be broken apart. True, things may come between us, whether it be a guy, a state, or worse, but we wil never break that bond. it is stronger than anything.... We are stuck like glue.... me and yoU!  |
