Shadows haunt my lonely soul Bending me backwards into this gaping hole Picking me up… putting me down Spinning my head round and round No one knows what is happening inside There’s nowhere for me to run and hide This crazy messed up life of mine Wasting away along this one way line Getting worse each and every day When will this pain just go away? Or maybe that’s It… it just stays with you All through your life and eternity too What does it matter… what does it mean Why bother worrying about what has been What’s the point… what’s the use Am I just a pathetic excuse? Wow... I really liked that one. Very, very expressive... what I got from it was a description of depression... and not really like sadness... but rather like the mental/emotional diseases... I'm "bipolar".. so to me it was like looking in a mirror... which is good for you cuz it means that you described these mixed thoughts and emotions perfectly. You should be happy with this poem.
