sweet some thoughts snuck in
held me close in early morn
sharing golden smiles

spring’s soft rain still beats
Sunday’s lullaby this morn
freshening my soul

your reign in my heart
swelling fills like soft spring rain
keeping me alive

this is so soft and sweet. I like the way it is written and what it says...

Soft spring rain does sound like a sweet lullaby. It's been a long time since we've heard it down where I am.

Beautiful, and a powerful play on words.  Exactly what we have come to expect from you.

Well Done!

Lady In White,

This is such a pretty one.  Nothing to critique here, just wish it had been longer.

Lady in White,

A refreshing, rejuvinating feeling in these words.  Very nicely penned.

I think you have summed up a rainy summer's morning... one word my fellow poet... beautiful very beautiful words.

"across the unfair divide
where black will never meet white
so read my token lips
like they never exist"
