~*~  Spirit Ghosts  ~*~

In the wake of waning wisdom,
There's a ghost that blocks my path,
Who seeks to hold my hand once more.
Who's terror sports a laugh.

Her hands are as cold as ice,
Her heart made out of stone,
She tries to beckon to me once more,
Not leaving well enough alone.

And I'm in no condition,
To resist an incantation wine,
Causing constant new perdition,
As she crawls into my mind.

Screaming out for intervention,
Seeking peace through my release,
But the spirit song, that holds me strong,
Forced upon my soul, a brand new crease.

So I shall venture to unknown waters,
As I hear the spirit wolf’s call,
And trust that my inner voice,
Will catch me if I fall.

This error is so long forgotten,
Purged out in utter desperate grief.
The biggest problem with a ghost,
Is that even death won't bring relief.

...and you've framed it quite well.  This is indeed one of your better attempts...

something tells me, however, it will not be your last....

Have an excellent Sunday.  You've just added a glint to mine...

Mysteria~
Well ... just pick me up and plop me down in beauty ! !

The music is, of course, heavenly ...
the graphic devine and your poetry sublime.

Quite the Sunday morning combo !
Thank you, poetess.
