TEXAS (it's all big)

I felt inspired
To tell a few
That I’m in love
With only you

I walked along
The street of gold
Each soul I saw
They soon were told

I think they knew
Love was in me
They told their friends
Come look and see

I heard them near
They were entranced
"How could he find
The lost romance"

"We made a street
We lined with gold
We poured our hearts
Into the mold"

They didn’t cry
They chiseled through
The street of gold
To love,they knew

I dropped the tool
I forged from hope
The miner’s hat
The length of rope

I felt inspired
To tell a few
That I’m in love
With only you
