The one

Isn’t it amazing
How two lovers in the dark
Can see each other
A night spent
Touching
Loving
What ecstasy
To be touched
By your warmth
Knowing how
Wanting
Finally
Feeling
Your face
Your lips
Your love
Your light
Your passion
And in that passion
I long for your love
I long to be the one
To set you free
To be the one
To make you smile
To be the one
To give you love
Just to be the one

The short, rapid lines lead one after the other falling in perfectly with the yearning you describe in your poem...a wonderful write!
