How do we find what lies within?
When does strife stop and peace begin?
Broken hearts, busted dreams,
even  the emptiness only death brings.
How deep the well from which we draw?
How do we answer catastrophes call?

Where comes these paths we see as a feat,
when only we dreamed of walking an easy street?
Just in the time we feel we will break,
knowing any action will be a mistake.
A helping hand does reach down,
replacing our feet on solid ground.

It matter not in what you believe
We all have our own personal deity.
Whether meditating the soul or in a church,
The peace will come in the lurch.
Encompassing the soul with a white shining light,
Then you will know, life will soon be all right.
