Let the failing winds subside
Along my heart that cries
In the falsity of hope
That covers all of our souls

Let the failing winds march down
To the shore that comes home
As ocean breeze's lift us up
To watch the sun play around

Let the failing winds cry out
To the hopeless of the world
Open arms that bring you inside
don't you feel the love subside

Let the failing winds build strength
Upon my torn and battered mind
Let loose the winters of my death
That come to take me by the hand.

Let the failing winds walk away
Letting me breathe another day
As I walk from my languished life
To begin my last mortal right.

your poetic winds never fail you...
this serves proof of that...
and once again I say...
god I love the way you write

We're all feeding our lonely like it might go away,
Like the doors of heaven will swing wide open if we just find the right words to say.

What a mix....failing winds....almost, perhaps, an oxymoron, except...they do fail, just as one lifts the kite in April...or a sailboat at sea needs the one last push....

or a promise, broken....

Your writing continues upward....you are finding a fan, here....that hopefully will not fail....

What would you do without your wind?     And just how long did it take you to write this one 4 minutes??  hehehe
