Deep in the heart

0 posted 2001-07-02 12:40 PM

Love cannot be bought, it is a gift from one to another
Love must be earned once given, else love can be lost forever
Love should be worn proudly like a lace gown, it should not smother
Love joins two people, it can never be used as a lever

Love must be returned, else it will die a slow, tormented death
Love must be mutual, it cannot be just a one way street
Love must be shared, for unshared love too soon will take its last breath
Love must be exchanged, it will not live in only one retreat

Love is fragile, it must be treated with care and a caring
Love is delicate, it must be handled with understanding
Love is tender, kindness is needed with a dash of daring
Love is intimate, it needs just two people for the branding

Love becomes the growing bond between a woman and a man
Love overcomes most obstacles like no other feeling can.

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. Philip Sidney (1554-1586) Loving in Truth

Very nice reminder, thank you! And I like to think of love as an action verb!

Lone Wolf ~ Yes, it does.  Thanx for the read

Ron ~ Well, I guess you can write of love, given your obvious limitations, should you feel the need.  Just Email me and I will explain the complexities as you feel the need to learn
If you only knew how wide the smile is on my face right now my friend.

So true, and a lot of good advice within, should anyone want to look for it.
Love is..everything I guess.
