Sometimes when you’re lonely And your eyes cannot see When your memories are spinning And you’re thinking of me With the breeze softly blowing And there’s dew in the air If the river’s still flowing You know that I care Sometimes these things happen They just burst from the sky You’re to loaded to worry To empty ………….to cry If the willow’s still weeping The truth hidden from view You know that I’m keeping My secrets ……for you So take of your mask And straighten your hair Just whisper my name You know I’ll be there If the moon is still laughing And the stars up above One thing that you’re sure of You’re sure of my love My love is an Oak tree That’s stubborn and green My love is a mountain The worlds never seen So you know when it’s raining Sweet tears from above And you feel that you’re swimming You’re swimming in love Jon Mewett |
