Poets at Post Poems: I would like to express my deep gratutude and thanks about your overwhelming love and response to my illness (small stroke) and my recent battle with health and physical abuse. I am recovering from the hospital stay and did move out from the 25 year relationship which had become so abusive as to cause me harm. It was not easy to leave , but your support did help me to accomplish it. I pray for abused women everywhere. I want to say thanks for all the flowers and cards and notes and poetry that enabled me to finally realize that I was important enough to matter to someone and needed to do something to change my situation (and to have courage to do it.) Mysteria and Marge Tindall Iwant to especially, thank you for the calls and the love that helped me make the right choices and stand strong when I felt so weak to take these steps.. I never have experienced the amount of love that all you , wonderful poets here showed to me with your kindness. I can't find words enough to express how blessed i am to know you all and to post here with such wonderful and loving people. Much Love to you all. Koko Aloha with warmest regards, Koko |
