Tales of Childhood I love to hear the Fables And Legends of long ago, Of Dragons and Damsels in distress, And Knights that were so bold. Of a Princess caught in a wicked spell, ‘til by a Prince released. Or of a funny old Dwarf King, Whose hunger was hard to appease. Of a King turned into a polar bear, Of Maids who sang to the moon. And even horrid old Witches, Who rode around on brooms. Of a Cat that talked, And wore great boots. Or of Elves who came, At night to make shoes. These are the stories of childhood, That I still hold so dear. I wish to share them with my child, As I hold her, oh, so near. Lisa ‘99 |

wonderful. . . I too, love these stories as well, and you've done a great job of showing that here. . . --------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
