I saw you today we stopped and we stared, blankness... feeling... No words need we say our thoughts are still shared, hopeless... reeling... We moved not an inch all time froze just then, dragging... piercing... Not even a flinch a knot tied within, nagging... searing... Then out of the dark a calm settled in, warming... soothing... Our walls fell apart doors opened within, pouring... moving... We stepped up and met embraced with a tear, shaking... squeezing... Cast off all regret subsided our fear, breaking... seizing... Forgiveness and peace our demons set free, holding... crying... This tender release full-filling our plea's, holding... crying... ...but this time we're smiling. Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer. [This message has been edited by ThUnDeRkYsS (edited 06-30-2001).] |

I know what you mean it seems like a total seizure at first....but how long can that last. I love that last line it makes the whole poem! Great write! |

Forgivness is such a necessary, though at times, almost insurmountable, thing... This was a gripping portrayal with emotions ready-felt. Forgive, I say, but never forget... just learn and move on. Powerful write. -MVS "If you think you know it all, you have a lot to learn." |
