I wear you like a cherished locket between the cleavage of my breasts close to the beating of my heart I wander nakedly, without you bathing in fragrant memories drowning in magnolia bouquet no longer my ray of sunshine I am but a porcelain china doll cascading rivulets of candlelight and yellow roses in ginger hair as fiery moonlight drapes a sarong over the shoulder of a memory a trellis weaving forget- me- nots echoes lovingly, our torch song Every child is an artist. The challenge is to remain an artist once he grows up. |

Victoria... I liked this poem very much. It left me speechless.... See, I am still struggling for words... What don't kill you can only make you stronger... |

I enjoyed this for its imagery and soft romantic tone... I could see an overdose of your words might indded turn even the hardnosed into a romantic sort... keep writing them!!! |

So beautiful, your words of romance. these lines were most powerful to me: "as fiery moonlight drapes a sarong over the shoulder of a memory a trellis weaving forget- me- nots echoes lovingly, our torch song" Perfect. Thanks for more romance in this unromantic life I live. Sandra |
