~*~ Can You Whisper Softly? ~*~

Can you whisper softly to me
as the winds go blowing by?
Can you gently caress me
as these tears fall from my eyes?
~*~
Calmly, can you say to me
the words I long to hear?
Words filled with hope and love,
so tenderly, I will hold them dear.
~*~
I dreamt of you again last night,
I watched you smiling in your sleep;
I wished you were there when I awakened,
to hold your heart in my sacred keep.
~*~
I would surly walk in your gentle shadow,
and watch you filled with joy and pride,
For I so long to walk right beside you,
and to never leave your side.
~*~
I need to hold your heart next to mine,
hold it close and never let go.
I need to feel your arms all around me.
Lovingly, you kiss me from head to toe.
~*~
Once again we walk my path of dreams,
I take a journey into the unknown.
Two fantasy lovers under the moonlight,
This dream is all mine to own.
~*~
I will continue this journey for a lifetime,
there is so much more about you to find.
Each night I share love with a dream mate.
Such perfection, only in dreams can you hope to find.

For the man of my dreams!

I just love, love poems. Beautiful indeed. Eventhough perfection does not exist when you love sometimes you are blind to imperfections(that's the beauty or tragedy of being in love). Thanks again.

Can you whisper softly to me?
Can you come true.........?
My dream would never be complete
without you.......

Thank you for such a soft read....

This completely filled my heart with butterflies...so very beautiful, Sharon.  I am not sure who this was written for, but whoever it was has been a wonderful source of inspiration bringing these mesmerizing words from your heart that we have been blessed to share in.  SO VERY LOVELY!
Hugs and smiles to you, and much love, always, dawn

Vandana: Thank you.

Walker: You keep loving love poems, for without love in your life you have nothing!  Thank you for reading this one.  And another thing, psst...don't tell anyone, but perfect doesn't exist trust me!

Balladeer: You showed up for this one?  Must be at least a "C" then, and you can whisper in my ear any time

rosepetals25: I am so glad it brought out the romantic in ya!  Thanks

Melissa: I decided to show ya my romantic side!  Glad you liked what you saw!

Richard: He, he, that would be wonderful!

Irish Rose: Thank you.

My Enchanted Melody: With a name like yours, I couldn't loose on this one - knew you might like it!  May lots of love come your way!

Lone Wolf: How sweet! There is no "he" this is just a "simple love poem", the car may not be running, but it still has wheels    Thank you though - gentle smile!
