i knew a boy named jesse with wings of whitest feather his heart was nestled on his sleeve his image tooled in leather a bleeder of affection his soul as his friend and guide but those wings he carried on his back became a thorn turned in his side jesse, broken angel couldn't plug the hole wallowing in his sorrow when the life of him she stole i pondered the fate of him with wings folded tight in fear i urged him to take flight but angel wouldn't hear so i let him hide within my pocket and hoped that he would see that in the darkness is no place for angel-wings to be jesse... wear your bandage but listen when you hear the wind sing your wounds will heal and if you try you can fly on mended wing... -dgvarner 6-29-01 no i wont be afraid. no i...wont be afraid, just as long as you stand, stand by me... -ben e king [This message has been edited by dgvarner (edited 06-28-2001).] |

hun *hugs* when you said you were working on something for me i was very happy. didnt know what it was but was soooo happy. now to see that what you were working on was this lovley poem i am hounerd. thank you very much. this is getting saved and when i get to work printed out  thank you hun. you have made me smile this day. and who knows this angel might just fly on wounded wing to pay ya a visit sometime thank you again hun *hugs*love ya  jesse the broken  And I cry to the alleyway |

Sorry, didn't make the connecton. The Poet Jesse.... I didn't know you wrote inspirational type poetry too.... Your very good. This is a wonderful piece... I know that life like flying is a solo activity... but its so important to have friends on the ground cheering us on and not shooting at us.. a lovely write from the heart. Parker |

I've gotten to know Jesse outside of passions, and have heard the sorrow he carries. He's a totally sweetie-pie, and I wish he would come back around Jesse - We all love you here *sigh* nobody cares |
