Midnight has driven me mad with each strike and chime of passing, I search between the space of passing click and tick clock worked time for eternity Raven raps no more and witches cackle no less Still... in silence echoes fade as minds turn in mysterious ways to ticking and click clock passing of time |

I have so many different kinds of timepieces throughout my house... however, I have never looked at them, quite like this. I may have to sit and stare at one or two of them tonight, and recall these words... quote: yes.... no wonder I feel very, very small at times.... |

Oh, I must wind my mother's ticking clock again, it has been silent much too long it gives a comforting to me of lovely memories of family gatherings, laughter, good food, belonging I must wind it life, love, memories take maintenance |
