She collects tears
from midnight skies
baskets filled with
diamonds
saved for her lover
hoping he'll return,
see,
what his absence
has wrought upon
her lonely heart

She sails wispy
clouds until the wee
hours of morn
closes her eyes
when the sun smiles
a reminder
how her own has gone
missing when once
it riviled beautiful day
her smile, like herself
now takes refuge
in shadows
behind walls,

Until he returns,
she will commune
with the night,
collecting tears...

Oh, this one hurts a little.  Hopefully he won't be gone too long and she won't have to be too sad.  Lonely write, Tier.

Tier, the image that's here is superb. . . very heartfelt and tender. . . a quite work about what happens when you miss someone you love. . .

Collecting tears, it can't be much sadder than that. And yet beautiful also. Love is like that, I think, so much beauty and sadness combined.
Much enjoyed, as always.

Tiersdin~
I liked the title very much ...
and the gentle sadness of the write within.
