The day has ended
and darkness has decended

A quiet time, a repair time
until the sun will shine

The prayers said,
thoughts all turn to sleep and bed

The day was long
and tomorrow we can right all wrong

When I'm in between
awake and sleep ready to dream

All the days worries
at rest no longer to hurry

The peace of all men
I pray and wash away my sin

Show me what I need
to do to others a good deed

Lovely prayerful thoughts ...

A little 'Marge' philosophy ...

'Sleep comes when we need it ... not when we want it !'

Throw out the clock ...
and let each moment of awake tick you forward.

Marge, you are so right!  Last night I read, I wrote, I really tried not to let my mind wander too far out in left field and when I finally got out of bed, I felt rested.  I am starting to whind down, but will wait to see what the night brings.  Thanks for your advice.
