You see what you want to see While all the world sees different You hear what you want to hear Afraid to listen well For you are well underneath her spell The hurt and lies mean nothing What she has done to you vanishes You feel what you choose to feel Always believing in her love You believe you are strong and right Doing what is best But all around and up above The world sees a different you One that is afraid to face the truth She is not what she appears Her love is a game An act that you choose to believe in For you have a fear of open eyes So you live in an utopian reality Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |
