The Hardest Words to Say When you meet someone special, that one that catches your eye. You look at her and your heart skips a beat, and your mouth goes dry. And though you try to deny it, there’s more to the warmth that you feel, Than the heat of the sun in the sky. You feel so good when you’re together, and feel emptiness when you’re apart But what is this you’re feeling, these feelings of the heart. She’s in your dreams, and in every waking thought, You can see her when you close your eyes, you know she’s in your heart. When you want to tell her how you feel the words don’t come clearly Except for the songs on the radio that say things so well But there is more than just lyrics to what you want to say There has got to be some words that will cover what you want to tell But how will it be received and is it to soon to say You know the feelings are there, and there’s got to be a way To express how you feel and how it grows stronger and stronger each day You think maybe IM dreaming do I deserve to feel this way The words are coming to me I think I know what to say But what if their not received and she doesn’t feel the same way But you’ve got to take a chance for the happiness you deserve to feel Because you know these feelings are all very real But those words are so hard to say And if I say them and they are received it would make my day They don’t come out lightly and have a lasting impact Because when I say them I mean them and that’s a fact So I guess its time to say what has been on my mind and in my heart And take that chance that will help to decide if we are to be together or apart For now these words come to my lips so easy And I mean each word from the bottom of my soul and my heart I Love You There I’ve said it the die is cast These feelings are too strong for it not to last So I say them once again I Love You |
