The rift grows wider ev'ry day between our once shared dreams . I drift alone in consequence of actions now that seem , as if were not mine to control , " predestined " some might say . If this is what I must endure I'll watch you slip away . For one of us is grounded here bound to this firmament , and one ( determined to explore ) immersed in element . Fare well my friend , keep safe that shell , let time heal all its' cracks . As one we will be whole again when I find my way back . |
