Is this muse of mine returning?
Perhaps a little at a time.
I have just been so frustrated,
no words have been here to rhyme.

Each day I come here to this page
to see the words of friends,
and in amongst the beauty here
I find the words don't end.

As I read I hear the poets voice
as it whispers on the wind
and slowly in this heart of mine
I feel as though my heart may mend.

Slowly a smile spreads to my lips
as my eyes dance across the page
and I find a certain sort of wisdom here
that releases me from my cage.

And in these words I "see mem'ries
brushed upon the canvas of life"
and though twas "just a thought that passed"
her wisdom brings an ending to my strife.

Sometimes "I play this back over and over again"
"in my moments of sweet recall,"
and I read the "traces she leaves behind"
as they pick me up from my fall.

All of these moments that I spend
reading the words of those so dear
although I am not present every day
be assured that in my heart I am near.

I find this place to be a comfort,
providing serenity and peace
I wish you all the very best
and may your muses never cease.

I feel a stirring deep in my soul
as a light begins to burn
and maybe through the friendship here
my muse will somehow return.

(and to all of you whose lines I have borrowed,
I thank you all so much.  I couldn't think of a better way than to thank you by including some of your words.)  Love and Peace.

I think this is a very sweet tribute to Passions. I'll second that (don't know if it's the right expression, but always wanted to say that line, you'll get the picture I think)

Sven,
from this cup so divine
I cherish each friend that I find,
and am honored to call you one of them
who helps my words return again.

THANK YOU, and peace.

In gentle caress we hold your
Spirit-on-the-mend
Comforting thoughts we share
from muses who gently send
a phrase or two to enlighten
we send so quillingly~
Thank you GentleSpirit ...
for accepting them willingly~
