In a corporeal internship...

As complicated as a math equation
Yet simpler than a child's smile
More challenging to the intellect
Than a judgement or a trial

Much swifter than a current of tropical air
Though at times, more fixed than a penetrating stare
As predictable as old dynamite
An explosion of data memorized in the Light

With a mind all Its own, It decides what to do
And Its legacy is what It puts us through
Every day is a chapter of Wisdom unknown
To be studied and remembered; applied and shown

This Entity is so Divine --
It's yours and His
And hers and mine
For every wall
There's an open door
Beyond which lies
Another floor
This Entity is our test
To correct our faults
And to reach our best
For all the work
And the time put in
Our reward is learning
How to win

Such a dynamic process of evolution
With many different facts for each conclusion
Emotional boundaries expanded through Mind
The Spirit moves forward in order to find:

A brand-new level of comprehension
Attained by surmounting all aprehension
A balance is struck between us all
On a pedestal of Honesty, Respect cannot fall

Pursuing the horizon, on a quest for Ideals
Romanticism leading, with Truth on its heels
A vision so real, it becomes Reality
As everything falls into place, the way It's meant to be...

This Entity is so Divine --
It's yours and His
And hers and mine
For every wall
There's an open door
Beyond which lies
Another floor
This Entity is our test
To correct our faults
And to reach our best
For all the work
And the time put in
Our reward is learning
How to win

And It's all for the better
Though It may not make much sense
At the time that It happens --
There's Purpose in suspense

Individuals together
We constitute a part
Of something so much deeper
Than just a Sonic Art

The Renaissance we've started
Not so long ago
Will catalyze more people's lives
Than we could hope to know

To contemplate these Thoughts,
In all Their mystery
Is to comprehend the Meaning
Within "This Entity".

Sounds so very right for a Sunday's service...but well read on any day of the week.

Well done!

Thanks, Sunshine, however there's much more to this contemplation/poem than just a "Sunday Service" implication...

"If you think you know it all, you have a lot to learn."

"Everyone can hear;  few can listen."

I'm getting out my Tony Robbins tapes and listening to them again!  I'm inspired

"This rose has seen red, I have been blue
I'm going to Ireland in 2002!" Kathleen.

Yes Mark, you are correct...and that is why I should have said, "and should be read [and pondered upon] any day of the week"...

Thank you, Irish Rose -- I was hoping that this may indeed inspire others for whatever meanings they may derive from it...

Sunshine, I hope you didn't take my reply the wrong way -- I'm simply saying that this poem had a very personal history to it at a time in my life when it all became integrated into this poem, and ironically, it had a more metaphysical meaning for me rather than literally "religious", but since you've mentioned it, I can completely see and appreciate that imagery as well...  Thanks for the reply.

Alas, thank YOU, Connie, for having taken the time to read them and reply.  Unless we seek, how can we really find?  Hopefully, though, we'll understand what we've found, when we've found it (or for that matter, that we've even found anything!).
