 You Are The Song ~*Marge Tindal*~ Muted song does not belong upon the page in silence wept Lost within the rhyme of you noting still the chime of you within these fingers kept Long-of-song does not belong within the throat of one unsung Notes within are deftly played across the scales, sweet serenade Fingertip touch that says so much on tickling of the ivory Sits upon the score of implore begging for a song from me If I could not sing no joy these words would bring So I slowly begin my song one small note at a time Won't you sing along ? You are the reason for the rhyme you are the song my fingertips long to touch ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Ahh Marge, how so often is the song in the heart and soul left unplayed? How often is fear of an unwanted melody left the words inside? And yet the slow drumbeat of the heart itself, is a haunting rhythm wanting to be free...gentle smile, you do have your way with words. |
