On the end of the rope, On the verge of a tear, On the edge of the cliff, On the border of fear, Feeling so helpless, A candle in the rain, No wick is endless, This always brings pain, Pain dropped on others, Is there nothing we can do? Enjoy what you’ve got, Harness the love invested in you, Cry a happy tear, Tie a new rope, Never be scared, To build a bridge of hope, The candle will flicker, And go out one day, But the wax lies there forever, Your story will stay. We must read the lines before we read between the lines. |

Yes, that hopeless feeling can overtake....and it feels so much better when we can cast off the shadows by lighting another candle... a good read! |
