"Now", whispers the storm and it lashes violently Thunder applauding it's arrival The skies lit, to make sure I see each limb torn and thrown The flowers too fragile to withstand by morning will be laying on the ground Lost to me I sit unaffected as the lights flicker and die The morning after will come It always does Damages to be assessed or just ignored Accepted as redecoration for my life viewed from these very jaded eyes |

I love this... from the whispered "Now" to the wait... Perhaps such apathy comes only to those who've suffered too many of life's storms... what good does caring do when it doesn't change anything? Welcome to Passions! I look forward to reading more of your work! |

A metaphoric, powerful piece. The first few lines grabbed me, got my attention. quote: Put me right there in the storm, of life! Welcome to PIP Rain, I look forward to more of your work! ~Sheri |

Wow - there's a severe intensity beneath the surface of this one. An appreciation for what once was, yet a bitterness for what remains. Welcome to Passions, btw. Good poem. Michael |

this is excellent. . . the storms of life can really make us better. . . as long as we learn from them. . . and, sometimes, after the storm, the sun can let you see what really matters. . . well done, and welcome. . . ------------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
