Still water runs deep,
Or so the old saying goes.

I remembered emerald green pools
Reflecting tree line and sky
As I glided by silently
Leaving only a disappearing
Vee behind and thought…
Once again of the depths
I had traversed
In your eyes.

Still water run deep they say
And I am running still
From yours.

Deca, Thank You! But sadness often accompanies the struggle we have..and even it has a beauty and depth

Interloper... we know your good for several things... inspiration is ceratinly one... some of the others I'll not mention in mixed company..( grinning)
