My Dearest

Summer-like storms
are finding the best of me this eve.
In chambers stretched out
on bed linen of silk,
I am warmed by my thoughts
of past moonlit nights shared.
I journal my entries in pretense
that soon you shall arrive
and I no longer will share
an empty life.

Within dreams, I trace thy dimensions,
reining in the past, images drifting
within my darkness, calming
the thunderous roar, allowing me
a night's rest.
Each memory awakens with a kiss,
harvested from yesterday, stored
and recycled in countless forms,
soothing my waiting lips.

As the light unfolds
and thoughts cross time,
I breathe soft sighs, yearning
for thy touch. In silentness of the hour,
I reach beyond covers,
spy the beauty of a new dawn
and surrender unto reality
once more.

Missing Thee,
Your Lady,
Ollyne

"O, learn to read what silent love hath writ:
To hear with eyes belongs to love's fine wit"...Shakespeare

Poet Fair, indeed you always leave one wanting. . . this is no exception. . . tenderly done. . .

LadyOllyne~
Another treasure penned so gently ...

'Each memory awakens with a kiss,
harvested from yesterday'

That is beautiful enough to keep ... so I will.
