state of confusion

It’s nothing,
really. Go to work,
let me stay home
just for the day,
to cry and sleep.

Why so glum?
Wish I could tell you,
I see the concern in your eyes.

Maybe it’s the heat, I say.
I always did prefer the brace of cold,
sea breezes; and driftwood art
that washes ashore as if sent by God.
In this summer dustbowl,
the wind is a fiend that carries sparks,
and everything burns.

I guess I don't fool you, though,
with my ruminations about life.
If I could manage to explain,
it would only serve to
depress us both.

Aw blues, got to hate them. Hope your case does not last long. Enjoyed the read.

Isn't that the truth. You write your feelings well.
