Why Have You Taken Such a Likin To Me? |

This question has been on your mind for quite some time. You've asked many times before, you don't have to ask anymore. I'll tell you what I'm gonna do; I'm gonna tell you why I took a "likin" to you. The "likin" I took had nothing to do with the way you look. The very first thing I liked was your voice... strong, vibrant; your awareness of what is right for you. Your stubborness, your strong will, your heart as big as your truck wheel; your confidence in you, your thoughtfullness,your sincerity; your generous compliments, your knowledge, your honesty in sharing your most personal feelings. Your persistence, your compassion; your jokes, your laughter, your consideration; your ability to overcome, your free spirit, your belief and pride in yourself... Don't get me wrong; I know you have a few bad qualitites, too. But, I see so much of me in you; how could I not take a "likin" to someone with such good character such as you!!! Don't hold it against me for recognizing the finer things in life; you are real... you don't pretend to be something you are not... but, you do know who you are and where you are going... yeah... I like that.....I like that a lot... It is refreshing and uplifting to connect with another human willing to be a genuine "this is as good as it gets" person! You run deep...you're not shallow. I will always be thankful that our paths crossed and we connected in such a warm and gratifying way. That's when it feels like Hey... He has been a part of me forever... I am glad I found him!!! |
