Dad’s Hands he was not a man of words mostly, his love went unheard I know not what he ever said to my mother to turn her head he spoke but little, though did a lot his handshake gave what he got he gave it often never held back he did it all a trader’s Jack he spoke through his actions, true he said little, his hands flew perhaps that is why today, now and then I measure men’s hands to see how they wend mixing life with fun then back to real yes, it’s good to see how a man feels and when they remind me of Dad’s I know they’re a man of ideals |

This was so loving, and when I read these lovely poems I wish I had but one kind word to say of my Father to write a poem like this. Well done. ~*~ Remember to tell someone today that you love them as tomorrow may never come ~*~ |

I would like to have shaken his hand. A tender and nice tribute. Michael Proust- |

Yes, Elizabeth, his hands spoke very well, he used them often to show just how large his heart was. Thank you all for allowing me to remember my Father on this day. |
