Thoughts and memories, like cobwebs made of finest dust wrap around me when I pass by and stick to me with a stubbornness born of desperation. The spider wants to eat. Little did he know my unknowing hand was about to invade his plan. I try to brush it away, yet it won't go. I am, in fact, more entrenched with every move. Yet I am not a fly, to be devoured momentarily. No, just a woman who cannot let go. |

Ahh, gentle one, there is a time, when we have to walk away, hmm, I did post something about that, didn't I? ...gentle smile, maybe it was just for you |

your final line is quite good. Another very meaningful yet accesible piece. My compliments. |

now this is an excellent metaphor here Sandra. . . I like the idea that we're all just flies caught in that web that's woven by those who would like to keep us there. . . great job. . . ------------------------------------------------------------ To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Seems the more we struggle against the web...the more of it entangles. Impressive! |

Letting go is always the hardest part, but in the end it is best. Nice write. All writing comes |
