My easels rests, its shadow spilling across a seashore I painted many years ago. As rose shadows dance and flirt with drawn curtains, I sit in thought. Today is one of shadows, too many, cluttering my thoughts. I seek a fire within myself to burn so brightly that all shadows would run in fear. I once knew such a fire and know it still exists. Over the years, I’ve let it burn to coals, almost ashes. Today, I shall gather kindling, keep doing so until again this fire roars, consumes all fear and doubts, and creates a gentle breeze that is drawn to feed these hungry blue flames. Proust- |

'I seek a fire within myself to burn so brightly that all shadows would run in fear. I once knew such a fire and know it still exists. Over the years, I’ve let it burn to coals, almost ashes.' Superb imagery, Michael...I truly enjoyed this...great work! sp I hopelessly, helplessly, wonder why |

Do not allow the kindling to be of sheaves white, with ink, black, be what the fire consumes... lovely! |
