Collecting the quietness of the sounds colliding within lead me to my awake, bring me to the cat’s stretch, in moments, sheets back, limbs overboard and body leading mind I find myself collecting where the sun is searching the dew to alight and bring a fairy her warmth the golden orb lifting, exploring the novel of the day, “what to see!” wind, on the turnaround, bringing quiet song and lifting birds’ calls to cotton, shooshing music gently through leaves of supple silk, freshets of thought stumbling, rushing to bring the snow’s liquid to a green valley’s delight collecting on its way, diamonds as easily picked to be examined and admired by only those who know that in my paper-bag-knapsack of childhood recollections, among the feathers and rocks, strings and papers, leaves and twigs morning is always the best time of day to begin collecting…. This is so wonderful. I love this form you're using...the way your collections scatter down the page, a lovely array. My favorite is the sun's liquid ....valley's green, what a lovely way to say it. |

Morning is a great time of day. Everything newly awakening to a fresh day. I felt like I was watching it happen as I read. Hope that's ok! All writing comes |
