Edges of cloud reach and feather forward gathering their strength in the cold blue winter crystals tale the form of snow their weight begging them to fall and slowly the snowstorm begins breezes soon lighten then fade leaving no stirring of the trees no sounds to be heard except for the soft whisping of snowflakes collecting slowly on the ground My daughter comes outside overdressed by her mother hardly able to move in her snowsuit but she does not notice anything but the snow where she will play A real man |

Funny just got a phone call from my friend in Maine to say they had even more snow. I think you are so lucky as I love snow, and she was complaining...and here you are with this beautiful poem showing you are loving it too! Loved your poem, don't forget to get down their in the snow with your daughter, and make snow angels it is good for your soul, trust me! |

So... rather than "the lull before the storm"... this would be "the storm before mud season"???.... Nicely done, James... |

Snow? What is that? You describe it so beautifully...all we have is sunshine in California. |
