So I love you While you sit in the glow If there is any And how do I glow But in "You Love Me Too" Questions Thoughts and answers All abide by the forbidden rule That they not be asked or acted upon Lest if fool us into thinking That the questions have to be doubts Because they don't have to be doubts Do they? Me A forever floating fool of love And endless possibilities of faith tests I don't have my head anymore Its in your corner of the world And you're doing things with it Whether you lay it aside Or whether you play emotional basketball with it Although I don't know what that means Emotional basketball I just know that while my head is with you I'm up within your love Then sunk in a net of fears of my own self making. Rambling insomnia moments I tried to sleep Really I did, But maybe the alcohol is becoming a habit? I laugh Only two or three days and its a habit already? It could be you know In this state Of mind Of countless people and new traffic laws The traffic laws of life, my Love. Thats what I meant to say While my thoughts release themselve And form choppy sentences of thought And love filled moments of "I'm doing it again, being weak" moments. How did you get me? Did I give myself to you? Did you give yourself to me? I don't know But I don't think so, So I still don't know I believe I have a part of you Which is all I'm allowed And not allowed that At that. So earlier tonight Or was it this morning? (my mind too fuzzy to know) The last drop drained from a cold glass And I called it a night Hoping I could make it back up the stairs To listen to your voice Snoring Well, it was lovely to hear you at all, So I can't really complain And I'm not Complaining that is. You see though Now I'm falling when I was uplifted Because I'm wondering my questions And there are too damn many of them. So, I try to quell them With liquid intoxication and rambling word poems. And now Only one more question The final ending question Before I say hello to my pillow again. Why complicate an "I love you" moment? In the worst of times, let me drift beneath the cloak of Oblivion. I favor the night as it favors me. |

The wandering path your thoughts take through this are captured wonderfully, Temptress. I've enjoyed your writing. ![]() "Often the test of courage is not to die but to live" |

A walk through your mind. . . expressed very well here. . . Excellent. . . -------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
