Intro: When love gets shook up and things don't look up, you better brace up to the part cause all that you know about how love goes comes straight out of the heart. vs 1 And the blues those lonely love lost blues, oh they can make the days grow long when you got a heart that's got no home and you're left out all alone, outside the love you always knew. vs 2 And love such deep and daring love will drive a normal man insane when every day is dark with pain seems there's no sunshine only rain while I'm still in love with you. vs 3 And the nights those lonely silent nights they come to say you're gone don't know how I can carry on I can't find out what went wrong and I'm still in love with you. vs 4 And this life yeah this only lonely life is full of sorrow and pain when the heart gets rearranged and the blues they seem so strange while I'm still in love with you. ending to fade: Mercy what can a lonely man do in a big mess with the blues Yeah, I'm still in love with you. © Eric True The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up |

E-babers ya know Im loving this... This reads just like a bluesy Van song... your cadence and melodic gift of rhyme always stand out in your work... as does the depth of the emotions. this is a bittersweet tune here sweet poet-pal ... one day I just gotta hear ya sing one beautiful song Eric, and seeing your name back today makes me smile. missed your presence of kind here in the forums. me |

couldn't make up my mind, which verse I like best, so I have to choose all. I hope you won't sing the blues to long. let our hands communicate what's in our heart. A Wisp of a brush... |
