Gentle Is He

Gentle is he, the one for whom I'll care.
I want no wild and reckless love affair.
He must have kindly heart and thoughtful air;
The one I seek has tenderness to spare.

No rough and ready, rowdy swain for me,
Manners he'll have and great gentility.
His arms though strong, will hold so tenderly.
Our hearts will beat in perfect harmony.

Gentle is he, the one who'll have my love.
No others need apply, just see above,
And when I find the man I'm dreaming of,
We'll be so happy, walking hand in glove.

Wonderful Joyce! I especially like the first two stanzas. He sounds like the perfect man. Hope you find him and he has a twin.

I think is what all us women want.. you wouldn't think it would be so hard to find! As long as you hold on when you do find it
