Can’t let Go

yesterday
my childhood
came back
to meet me
bitter sweet
memories
flood
to greet me
emotions
rushing back
things
I choose to remember
things
I can never forget
again experiencing
my past
stored
in a heart and soul
easy
how the tears stream
then and now
all
a connection
to me
I can’t let go of
