I've Loved You Longer... I've loved you longer than I can remember You were the shadows of my night Joining me in slumber dreams Held in warmth of bodies tight. Even before I knew your name Or kissed your lips, when face to face I've loved you longer than I can remember In mind and heart, you've had a place. I've loved you longer than I can remember Each gentle touch, each moment paired. I'll hold your gaze within the pages Of poetry written, each memory shared. Remaining now in "Forever Dreams" These tears of hurting, haunting me I've loved you longer than I can remember Forget-Me-Not, you shall always be. ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |

Who listens? I do...to poets who have come to grips with their lives...and write, to live again... well done, Maureen... |
